7.2: Auto-routing

Creating a new auto-routing job:

  • Select the “Dispatch” tab located in the top left hand corner. Another selection menu will appear to the right. Select “Scheduled Trips”.
  • Select a date and provider in the upper left hand corner displaying all trips assigned to provider.
  • Select the trips to be auto-routed by checking the box to the left of the trip.
  • Select the drivers to be assigned trips in the current auto-routing batch.
  • Click on the lightning bolt icon just above the list of drivers to begin the auto-routing request.

Viewing auto-routing jobs and job status:

  • Select the “Dispatch” tab located in the top left hand corner. Another selection menu will appear to the right. Select “Scheduled Trips”.
  • Select a date and provider in the upper left hand corner displaying all trips assigned to provider.
  • Select the tab title “Jobs Auto-routing” in the upper section of the screen to display auto-routing batches/job.
  • Job status will be displayed as well as detailed batch information. Click on the job to view individual trips, modify assignment and approve auto-routing.

Modifying and approving auto-routed trips:

  • Select the “Dispatch” tab located in the top left hand corner. Another selection menu will appear to the right. Select “Scheduled Trips”.
  • Select a date and provider in the upper left hand corner displaying all trips assigned to provider.
  • Select the tab title “Jobs Auto-routing” in the upper section of the screen to display auto-routing batches/job.
  • Double click on the job to be modified or approved.
  • Move the order of trips by dragging the trip and scrolling up or down.
  • Remove a trip from driver by click the “X” button.
  • Once ready to approve, simply select the approve button located in the upper left hand corner to assign trips.
