6.1: Assigning Trips

Assigning trips to provider:

  • Select the “Dispatch” tab located in the top left hand corner. Another selection menu will appear to the right. Select “Provider Assignment”.
  • Select the unassigned trip you wish to assign to a provider by checking the box to the left of the trip. (Hint: Users can filter trips and display only unassigned trips or any other trip status.)
  • Assign the trip by clicking Post Trip Assignment button.

Reassigning trip to another provider:

  • Select the “Dispatch” tab located in the top left hand corner. Another selection menu will appear to the right. Select “Provider Assignment”.
  • Select the trip in need of being reassigned by checking the box to the left of the trip.
  • Use the drop down menu to select a new provider, then reassign the trip by clicking on the down facing arrow.

Check your trip reassigned:

  • Select the provider status located in left hand, middle grid, the status after reassign is Preassign.
  • For a better search, deselect all the providers located at the 3rd grid in the left hand, then select the provider used to reassign the trip.
  • Then you will be able to verify the trip in the bottom main grid.
